We have vacationed there at least once a year since then, and have even brought family members down on an annual Thanksgiving week vacation with us. While down in Siesta Key in November 2002, my husband contacted John & Nancy Werner in regards to some available condos for sale. We were only looking at this time, as it was a spur of the moment type idea. You get that way when relaxing on Siesta Key beach. We met with John a few days later and began looking at condos. We were immediately impressed with John’s demeanor. We had purchased several homes in the past and were used to overbearing real estate agents. John was completely relaxed and never overtaxing. He let us look and gave us his honest opinion about the condos and the land around it, but he never tried to sell us on any one place. One of the last few condos we looked at that first day was perfect for us.
Of course all vacations end and we were headed up north. I remained in contact with John during the course of 2 weeks to ask him questions about the development and the condo itself. We finally decided to make an offer on the place and went from there. John remained calm and cool during the whole purchase process. He was extremely professional and courteous throughout the process and I would highly recommend him to any of my family or friends who wish to purchase a home around the Sarasota area. I only wish all other real estate agents were like him. Additionally, I should mention that my husband and I are in our mid-30’s. Why is this mentioned? Well the purchase price of our condo was a little on the high side for most 30-yr-olds. John never made us feel like we couldn’t afford the place. Buy Investment Properties After twenty years in the healthcare field, and as vice-president of a national chain, I had little time to spend looking for housing to purchase in Sarasota. with Nancy Werner I was a real estate agent for a year in Boston and quit because other agents were so mean and so competitive that it became impossible for me to continue. That is not my personality and I was so happy to meet the wonderful agents we had in Florida who worked together, did not pressure us in any way and were extremely nice to us and more importantly, to each other. It seems to me that people are always ready to write a letter when they have had a bad experience but not when they have had a good one. I would rather tell you how nice someone was. Regards, Sold Condo in One Month Not knowing Realtors in the Sarasota area, and having had a bad experience selling a prior piece of property in the area, John & Nancy were indeed a breath of fresh air. They were very proactive, kept us well informed on events relating to the sell, kept our best interest in mind, sold the property for a good price in a reasonable period of time, but by far the most important traits they possess are that they are practical and ethical in their dealings.
As a side note, after the sale, they also helped us acquire a rental unit,
for a couple weeks, so that my mother could continue to enjoy the beaches
on Siesta Key, and the area she knows and enjoys. They do a
great job, I would use them again or recommend them to any of my
family and friends. First Time Home Buyer Being a first-time homebuyer can be extremely stressful, not
to mention scary. John and Nancy made the whole experience quite comfortable for
me. From the beginning of the process to the very end, they made me feel as
though I was in good hands. They were very patient, answered any questions I had
and constantly reassured me that they would be there to take care of all the
details. From the first step of looking at many homes through to the offer and
the closing, John and Nancy were both professional, courteous and knowledgeable.
I am happy to say that I am now a proud homeowner thanks to their support and
guidance. They made my first experience buying a home, a very pleasant one.
Thanks John and Nancy, Second Home John and Nancy were great help in finding our second home in Florida. In our
situation of not living in Florida, I really appreciated their follow through
and having everything organized when we arrived. We only had a few days to make
our decision and it really helped that all of our appointments were set prior
to. John showed us various parts of town and acquainted us with the benefits and
draw backs of each. It would have been a much more daunting task without their
assistance. I am planning on looking for other property in the area soon to use
as a rental and I will definitely enlist their assistance. Thanks again for your

We cast a wide net on line looking for help from out of town, and they responded faster and more efficiently than any other brokers we tried to contact. We presented them with a very tight schedule for showings and they responded by working out a program that enabled us to look at over 20 homes in 3 days. The details of the closing were handled without any mishaps, and the whole deal went through uneventfully. We appreciate their help and would recommend them to anyone looking for

the areas in which we were interested, we saved many hours of running around and
